The property is nestled in one of the most beautiful green settings of the Metropolis of Lille, La Montagne de Wervicq, where textile manufacturers built at the beginning of the 20th century, at the top of a hill, villas surrounded by large mature gardens.
This locality has become a wealthy district, a real haven of peace, and is located just 15 km from Lille, 18 km from Ypres and Kortrijk. It is well known to cyclists who taste there one of the only "heights" of the flat country to reach the ...60m altitude!

The banks of the Lys, a river forming the border between Wervicq and its Belgian twin, Wervik, are today a place for walking and their layout allows for beautiful cycling trips as far as Courtrai, or even as far as Ghent to join the Scheldt there.

In the heart of the Mountain, the largest villa, the Dalle-Dumont castle, now municipal property, is the place for cultural events: exhibitions, festivals and private receptions.
