Our three rooms have been designed to offer hotel-level comfort in the warm atmosphere of a guesthouse.

The Classic Room (approximately 240 sq ft) is ideal for business travellers or short stays.

The Superior Room (approximately 355 sq ft) is perfect for a getaway for two.

The Suite (approximately 400 sq ft), with additional sleeping accommodation, comfortably welcomes families or guests staying a little longer.

Guests also benefit from complimentary private parking within the grounds.

The Mont de Wervicq, a green haven

La Castagnère de Bergory is nestled in the heart of the Mont de Wervicq, one of the preserved green spaces of the Lille metropolitan area.

A peaceful residential neighbourhood, away from the bustle of the city, yet within easy reach of Lille, Ypres and Kortrijk.

The gardens combine majestic pine trees, an orchard, formal box hedges and remarkable specimen trees.

A magnificent magnolia is the centrepiece, while a fig tree produces delicious fruit each year, which you may also enjoy at breakfast in our homemade preserves.

Activities and discoveries in the Lys Valley

In the heart of the Mont de Wervicq, just across the road, the Dalle-Dumont estate park and its 30 acres of woodland invite you to enjoy a leisurely walk or an early morning run.

Cyclists will discover one of the few ""hills"" of this famously flat region, rising to almost 200 feet above sea level.

Down below, the banks of the River Lys offer pleasant walking and cycling routes towards the Belgian twin town of Wervik, Kortrijk and, for the more adventurous, even Ghent.

And for those seeking a little more excitement, Ice Mountain Adventure Park in Comines offers indoor skiing and skydiving all year round, just a few minutes away.
